Adaptive Skateboard and Wheelchair Skills Workshops

Calling all paraplegics, amputees, and other youth and young adults living with physical disabilities! 9Lives Adventures is holding workshops at Bonsor Skate Park to teach you adaptive skateboarding skills! Canada’s FIRST Adaptive Skate Comp will be held at Bonsor Skate Park in Burnaby on Saturday June 16th for you to show off what you've learned, win prizes, and watch the amazing Aaron Fotheringham chair-skate along side other pro-riders!

"NOTE: All workshops are instructed by certified rehab specialists that are trained and knowledgeable to cater to each individual person and capability. These workshops are designed to give value to your everyday means of transport, and to look at a prosthetic or wheelchair with an extreme adaptive sporting capability. Personal 1-on-1 and group instruction, wheelchair maintenance lesson, safety equipment and snacks will be provided. Come join the wildcats."
